What We Do ?

What We Do

- Group Formation

Group formation has been considered as an entry program of Seed Program of Grameen Society and groups on normally formed with 100% poor and under privileged people. The basic concept of Seed Program of Grameen Society Development is not possible to the total development of female participation.

- Credit Program

Seed Program of Grameen Society provides credit support at a range of Tk. 5000 to Tk. 50000, person and receives service charged a rate 15% of the credit amount provided for income generation activities, credit recovery rate is 98% in time and 2% behind time.

- Primary health care & nutrition program

Primary health care & nutrition program is been carried out in selected area among Seed Program of Grameen Society working areas for preventive and curative healthy services among the under privileged rural people.

- Training Program

At present training has been playing a very strong role for the development of disadvantaged people. As a development organization, Seed Program of Grameen Society also puts special emphasis on training.

- Child & Adult Education Program

Seed Program of Grameen Society provides non-formal primary education for the children of poor people because many poor children either dropout of school after a just a few years or simply do not go to school at all and adult literacy for adult for raising their awareness and knowledge  so that they are not be exploited.

- Humane rights Program

Seed Program of Grameen Society is conducting workshop, seminar, training & celebrating national & international days on people’s human rights to launch with view to support distressed. People who are in need Seed Program of Grameen Society works to ensure full enforcement and implementation of laws relating people rights.

- Water & Sanitation Program

Seed Program of Grameen Society is to ensure all the people for sanitary latrine uses and safe drinking water using and awareness rising regarding arsenic and its related health hazards.

- Disability & Development Program

Above-mentioned these program organization workers are launching strong motivation and technical assistance disability & development program working areas of the organization. Group members are now very conscious for their disability & development program.

- Good Governance & Civil Society Program

- Disaster Pre: & Management Program

Seed Program of Grameen Society are conducing launching strong motivation disaster pre: management program working areas of the on going action. Group members are now very conscious for their disaster pre: management program.

- Women and Child Trafficking Prevention

Due to the border area and main hub for trafficking, women and child trafficking is a frequent problem in this area so Seed Program of Grameen Society highly concentrates on this issue.

- Women Empowerment

Seed Program of Grameen Society introduced diverse programs by which they will get benefit through organizing, voice raising, ensuring access, increasing bargaining capacity and participation in decision-making process.

- Poultry Program

At present organization workers support is producing low cost poultry feed and introducing to the communities by installation. bits of straw as fuel for cooking purpose for the rural poor families.

- Fisheries Program

The organization primary started fish farming activities for demonstration. In the time off cultivation and harvesting the group members are invited to observe and to give them practical education to motivated and inspired them for future fish farming. So now they fisheries program from joint pond.

- Forestry & Nursery Program

Nursery farmer have been trained on nursery and at present they are doing this business successfully. More over 300 farmers have been aware on home-based fruit and timber plantation and homestead gardening. They have planted about 30000 saplings in their homestead area.

- Mother and Child benefit Program

Duration : From  2021-22  to  2023-24 

Objectives :

  1. To assist to develop a life cycle-based nutrition and child benefit programme.
  2. To create evidence of good practices and modalities of child benefiting programme in Bangladesh.
  3. To enhance capacity of the implementing organizations for proper implementation of IMLMA programme.
  4. To provide guidance and mentoring support to the staff of the implement organization of to implement the IMLMA programme.
  5. To support to enhance capacity of the respective DWA offices and respective stakeholders of one Upozila manda, district Naogan.

Major Activities : Orientation, training, campaign, day observation, formation of resource pool, court yard meeting and learning visit.

Implementation process : The project is implementing in Manda Upazila of Rajshahi District .SPGS working as a strategic NGO to assist the IMLMA implementing NGOs to build their capacity as well as implement BCC campaign directly at the field level.
